Ara Mina is engaged!

The engagement between the actress and her boyfriend, Dave Almarinez, took place yesterday, January 12, in Laguna.

The occasion was captured and posted on social media by Nice Print Photo.

“And it's official! @therealaramina is now engaged!

“Congratulations Dave and Ara! Sooooo happy to be part of this beautiful moment,” the Instagram caption reads.

While the Facebook post says, “They're engaged! Congratulations @therealaramina and Dave Almarinez. This most beautiful moment, priceless.”

One of the pictures shows the couple showing off the engagement ring with the words “Will You Marry Me?” visible in the background.

Another photo sees Dave, 46, during the actual proposal, kneeling on one knee while revealing the engagement ring to a visibly emotional Ara.

Ara, 41, can be seen crying as Dave puts on the ring followed by a warm embrace between the couple.

Dave is the president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC), with the rank of undersecretary.

He also served as a provincial board member of Laguna.

While not entirely a secret, Ara and Dave opted to keep their relationship low-key, and sightings of the couple have been minimal at least in public.

Ara has a six-year-old daughter, Amanda Gabrielle, with former boyfriend Patrick Meneses, who is currently the vice-mayor of the municipality of Bulakan in Bulacan.
